Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Caju (“the app”, at caju.casa), a private application that keeps one sealed home per household. By signing in and using the app, you agree to them.
Who can use it
Caju is invitation-only. You may use it if a household owner has invited your email address; access is for you and the members of that household. Keep your Google account and devices secure — you are responsible for activity under your sign-in.
Acceptable use
Use the app only for managing your own household. Don’t attempt to access other households’ data, disrupt or probe the service, or use it to break the law or others’ rights.
Your data
The content you put into Caju is yours, and you’re responsible for it. How your data — including data from Google — is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Price & billing
Caju costs £19 a month per home, or £189 a year (VAT included where applicable) — one flat price covering every member of the household. While Caju is invite-only, nothing is charged until your key is issued and you choose to take it; asking for a key costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You can cancel at any time — your home stays open to the end of the period you’ve paid for, there is no exit fee, and you can download everything your household has put in before (or after) you go. If you’re a consumer, you also have a statutory 14-day cooling-off right from when your subscription starts: cancel in that window and we refund it.
Availability & “as is”
Caju is a small, family-run service provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. It may change over time. Don’t rely on it as the sole record for anything critical. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app and its maintainer are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
Ending access
You can stop using the app and revoke its access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions. A household owner may remove your access at any time. Before or after leaving, your household can download everything it has put in from Settings, and can ask for full deletion — see the Privacy Policy.
Changes
If these terms change materially — the price included — we will notify every household before the change takes effect, and the date above will be updated.
